Mexico Gets Radical Race Series

The second of two presentation Radical Mexico Gentleman’s Championship races was held on 21 October, the well-supported event was a precursor to a full-scale Gentleman’s Championship calendar in 2010.

Radical Mexico staff pulled out all the stops to ensure this promotional event was a real success, with strong attendance from both Mexican Radical owners and Club Radical Mexico members.

Chrystophe Suberville qualified on pole for the 15-lap race, with Erwin Richter lining up alongside, and Radical Mexico’s Tomas Contreras third. A rapid getaway from the line gave Contreras the lead, held all the way to the finish line despite sustained pressure from Richter and Suberville.

Next year’s series will be based at the 4.5-kilometre Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez near Mexico City, with around ten dates proposed throughout the year. All will feature Radical Mexico’s high-quality hospitality, thrilling racing and expert technical support.

With at least 20 SR3 RS racecars expected on the grid in 2010, the Radical Gentleman’s Championship is set to become another successful Radical-sanctioned series.
