Radical Poland Trains The Stars Of Tomorrow
4th August 2010
Radical Poland’s Radical Racing Academy is already making waves in the Polish motorsports industry, having gained acceptance by the Polski Zwiazek Motorowy (PZM), Poland’s motorsport authority, to assess new racing drivers for racing licences.
Last week, a senior delegation from PZM visited the Radical Racing Academy at Poznan circuit to oversee the training, assessment and testing of ten new racing drivers. PZM’s management were so satisfied with Radical Poland’s SR3 RS-based raceschool, they have agreed to use the programme as the foundation of their nationwide racing driver development scheme.
The two-day process included not only on-track assessment of the driver’s ability in racing and safety car conditions, but also training on the psychological and physical requirements of a successful racer. The Radical Racing Academy is drawing on the skills of eight driver-instructors, from a diverse range of sportscar, saloon, single-seater and rallying backgrounds.
Drivers in these series will be able to compete in SR3 RS’ in the new Radical Central European Open Cup, a joint series between Radical Poland and Radical Czech & Slovak Republics. To find out more, contact Radical Poland by clicking here.
